While preparing another post I stumbled upon this clip from a talk given by Mother Teresa. As you may have come to realize I am, like many others (Christopher Hitchens notwithstanding) an admirer of this woman who lived her life in search of ways to love God.

We have come to know that she struggled along the road, encountering such a deep sufferings in the lives of those she touched that her faith was challenged and perhaps based on her “secret” communications with her spiritual director it may have been crushed. Christianity is not easy, which is why some say it has never really been tried.

In this short clip, Mother Teresa brings Matthew 25 alive in her own unique and quiet way:

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’ Matthew 25:35-36
