The Holy Triduum

The Easter Triduum refers to the three days where we come together as a Christian family to remember the passion of the Lord and celebrate the resurrection on the third day. It is also a time for us Catholics to welcome new members into the community at the Easter Vigil which takes place after sunset on the Saturday before Easter.

I was honored this year to present to the RCIA class at St. Patrick’s and I have posted below the presentation I used that evening.

FR. Thomas Rosica Reflects on Holy Week

Below is a short video from Fr. Rosica on Holy Week and the Trdiduum. Please note that this video references Matthew’s passion as it was taped last year and we are currently in the year of Luke. This does not in anyway impact on the teaching for us as he touches on the events of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and the “mother of vigils”, the Easter Vigil.
