It has been quite a year for the name Francis. Jorge Mario Bergoglio put the spotlight on the “poor little man” from Assisi when he became the first man elected pope to choose the name Francis.

Today is St. Francis’ feast day and where better to learn about him than on the website of the Franciscans where is featured as the Saint of the Day.
